Born and raised in a Kurdish family in Iranian Kurdistan, he studied dramatic literature at Tehran's Art University and has since written and directed several short films in both Kurdish and Persian. His cinema often revolves around themes of migration, women’s rights marked by violence, and the silence carried from one generation to the next.

Now living in France, he writes across languages, Persian, Kurdish, French, and English as if each script were a crossing of borders.

Alongside cinema, he is also a photographer. For him, photography is less about capturing images than about embarking on an inner journey, a way of listening to silence, tracing fragments of memory, and seeing the world as reflection and echo.
